Aveo Live Well, Australia’s leading retirement village owner/operator is seeking an experienced, motivated and pro-active Care Manager for Aveo Minkara Resort Service Apartments in Bayview, NSW.
About the role:
Reporting into the Village Manager, you will provide assistance in the provision of Assisted Living/Care Services within the Assisted Living Apartments.
We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse with strong management skills in aged care. You will have hands-on experience in managing Assisted Living Apartments including leading a varied team, recruiting, financial control, quality improvement, managing risk and compliance.
You will also have the passion and drive to provide high standards of residential care, lifestyle programs and customer service while ensuring compliance with Aged Care legislation and Aveo Policies and Procedures.
Minimum role requirement:
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA;
- Minimum 5 years post training experiences as an RN;
- Current First Aid Certificate;
- Demonstrated experience in management within an Aged Care environment;
- Proven experience in financial, quality improvement, risk and compliance management;
- High level written and verbal communication and negotiation skills;
- Demonstrated success in achieving accreditation;
- Demonstrated working knowledge of the Living Longer Living better reforms for residential care;
- Budget development and management;
- Intermediate to Advanced user of the Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Strong focus on results and customer satisfaction.
